Yo creo que allá por 2035, más o menos, estaré bastante de acuerdo conmigo y dejaré de hacer estos listados una y otra vez. Hasta entonces, como bien comprobará aquel que siga mis publicaciones con algo de regularidad, seguiré escribiendo y reescribiendo, alterando, fijando y dando esplendor a mis ideas, que surgen de ver estos filmes una y otra vez, y de tratar de encontrar otros que pudieran reemplazarlos o hacerme cambiar de idea, algo a veces bastante complicado de conseguir… y otras veces más fácil de lo que pudiera parecer.

En esta ocasión incluyo los filmes más importantes, no solamente las obras maestras absolutas, sino también los filmes más notables. La diferencia está en las estrellas, como casi siempre. Los de cuatro estrellas son los grandes filmes, y los de cinco los gigantescos, los excelsos. Fuera de esta lista, como se dice en esa sobrevalorada y fallida película de Spielberg, Schindler’s List, sólo existe el vacío.
